Donald Keith (President and CEO)
Don holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of New Brunswick and an M.A. in Organisational Leadership from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Don held a variety of engineering positions in the resource, structural, commercial, and industrial industries before purchasing QC Inspection Services in 1993. Since then, Don has grown the company from a 3-employee operation into the Qualimet of today.
Don is committed to leading the metallurgical and welding engineering industries toward a position of increased responsibility and accountability to contractors, owners, and the public. He was a long-time Rotary member and his family has hosted many exchange students.
Allan Willis hold CPA and CMA designations and brings significant general management, finance and leadership skills to the organization. Allan has held senior management roles in leading organizations including having previously held the role of General Manager at Qualimet.
Hal is a senior executive with over 40 years experience in the Canadian heavy industrial construction, module assembly, pipe spool fabrication and turnaround/shutdown/maintenance industries. Retired in 2014 as Senior Vice President responsible for KBR Industrial Canadian operations. Previously he has held similar positions with Jacobs Industrial Services and Lockerbie & Hole Industrial Services. Other organizations Hal has been involved with include: Life Member of APEGA, founding member of ACTIMS (Alberta Council of Turnaround Industry Maintenance Stakeholders), Alberta Apprenticeship & Industry Training Board member for six years, former Chairman of the Pipe Fabrication Council of the TPA (Tube and Pipe Association), former member of the advisory board to SAIT’s WET (Welding Engineering Technology) program and a former director of CLRA (Canadian Labour Relations Alberta).
