We’re also an APEGA permit holder, with P.Eng. registrations across six jurisdictions: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and the Yukon. We run our own in-house testing lab and have operated since 1973.

What’s the difference between metallurgical testing and materials testing?

Materials testing is the broader category, covering any test that confirms whether a material or component meets a required property or standard. Metallurgical testing is the specific discipline focused on metals, their structure and how they behave under stress, heat or a weld.
